Amanda Lalonde
Amanda Lalonde is Assistant Professor of Musicology in the Department of Music at the University of Saskatchewan. She works on late 18th- to early 20th-century art music and early New York hip hop with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity. Eric Paetkau
Eric Paetkau is the Music Director of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Known for his intense musicality and artistic excellence, Mr. Paetkau has conducted many orchestras including the Calgary Philharmonic, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Hamilton Philharmonic and Les Violons du Roy, among many others. He has also worked with a wide range of soloists including Jan Lisiecki, James Ehnes, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Nathan Berg, and Tanya Tagaq. As a violist, Mr. Paetkau was a member of the Nuremburg Symphony in Germany, and has played with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, Les Violons du Roy, and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra.

Student Research Assistants

Kennedy Kosheluk
Kennedy Kosheluk is a student at the University of Saskatchewan in the Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) program. Her primary instrument is piano, which she studies with Kathleen Solose, and she also enjoys performing mandolin and chamber work, as well as composing. She is the primary research assistant for this project.


Ciel Butler
Ciel Butler is a student at the University of Saskatchewan entering into their fourth and final year of the Bachelor of Music Education (Honours) program. Studying trumpet under the direction of Dean McNeil, Ciel enjoys performing and studying wide varieties of repertoire from the Baroque era to the modern day.



Esteban Mendoza
Esteban Mendoza is a Chilean student in the MA Musicology program at the University of Saskatchewan, supervised by Dr. Amanda Lalonde. In addition to being a musicologist, he has been a music teacher for secondary education and a youth choir conductor. He has worked on several popular music projects as a singer, bassist, and guitarist.



Lynelle Kratz
Lynelle Kratz is a graduate student at the University of Saskatchewan studying a Master of Music, Music Theory under Dr. Gregory Marion. She is a teaching assistant for two online music courses, and enjoys playing and listening to music that spans from Beethoven to the Beatles and beyond.



Connor Elias
Connor Elias is a first-year student in a Bachelor of Music Education. Studying under Bonnie Nicholson, Connor is both competing in the Saskatoon Music Festival and preparing for his grade ten exam in Piano Performance for the Royal Conservatory of Music. He enjoys researching musicology, harmonic analysis, and performing piano.




Performers

Jayden Burrows
Jayden Burrows is a student at the University of Saskatchewan in the Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) program. He is a baritone and is currently studying voice with Dr. Garry Gable. He will be recording one of Moehn's songs for this project.



Angela Gjurichanin
Angela Gjurichanin is a soprano originally from Prilep, Macedonia and now resides in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she studies voice performance at the University of Saskatchewan. Currently, she is in her fourth and final year of study with Dr. Garry Gable and Kathleen Lohrenz Gable. For this project, Angela will be recording a song by Moehn with poetry by Goethe, in collaboration with Cynthia Wilson.



Hannah Lissel-DeCorby
Hannah Lissel-DeCorby is a fourth year student at the University of Saskatchewan, completing a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours), under Dr. Veronique Mathieu. She is a violinist with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys performing alongside students and faculty from the music department. For this project, Hannah will be recording the Duo for Violin and Piano by Moehn, in collaboration with Nicole Tremblay.



Kate Nachilobe
Kate Nachilobe is a student at the University of Saskatchewan currently completing her second year studying Voice in the Bachelor of Music Education program. Under the direction of Janice Paterson, Kate enjoys discovering and perfecting vocal techniques that she hopes to pass along to her future students. For this project, she is recording a set of songs by Moehn.



Nicole Tremblay
Nicole Tremblay is currently completing her Extended Practicum teaching K-8 music at George Vanier Fine Arts School as part of her Bachelor of Education degree. She has graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (High Honours) and has completed her ARCT in Piano Performance with The Royal Conservatory of Music. For this project, Nicole will be collaborating with Hannah Lissel-DeCorby playing Duo fur Violine und Klavier.


Shawn Vereschagin
Shawn Vereschagin is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Department of Music at the University of Saskatchewan. A multi-instrumentalist, Shawn enjoys performing all types of music. He also enjoys composing and learning as much as he can about all facets of music. For this project, he is providing the accompaniment for a set of songs by Moehn.


Cynthia Wilson
Cynthia Wilson is a student at the University of Saskatchewan in the Bachelor of Music Education (Honours) program. She studies piano with Kathleen Solose and plays clarinet in the wind orchestra. She loves to teach piano and is excited to teach band in the future. For this project, she is providing the accompaniment for two songs by Moehn.
